Psychometric Properties of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5) in Brazilian Samples

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5) in Brazilian community and clinical samples. research included 1,210 people, 554 them with psychopathology indicators. The participants answered PID-5 Self-Reporting Questionnaire, addition a sociodemographic health data questionnaire that six items suicidality module Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview. results showed 25 facets had adequate reliability coefficients evidence unidimensionality. instrument’s five-factor structure was replicated high levels congruence representative sample from North America. scores were statistically different between groups positively correlated measures suicide risk psychopathological symptoms. presents its suitability use population.
